| what really matters in a game where your team consists of players who have always seen otehrs as opponents. is it about having top players in your team or having a team of players who are not the best but together as a team are a force to reckon. |

| the examples of dc and jaipur are probably the best to see at this moment, one with a line up of stars and match winners from around the world but who fail to clickas a team and end up at the bottom of the table despite a batsmen and a bowler being amongst the highest runs and wickets and on the other side you have the teams who came as underdogs with hardly any big names to show but played as a team and with their collective efforts manged to reach the top of the league table and stun the spectators. |

well its correct that its the players ability to stick together as a team which makes a winning combination!
But the thing to be noted is that u cant foretell whether players will gel together or not. So everyone goes for big names as these are the guys who have shown their ability & help their team winning in past. |

Big names in the team can't make you win for sure. See the example of Hyderabad.
On the contrary see RR they don't have too many big names but they have outperformed everyone in the tournament |
