The team seems to be strong except for the captain who I feel is a fluke player. In fact his whole scenario is a fluke.Anyway most recent entrant in the team is Balaji. This probably is a good news.

I too think this is one of the strongest teams in the tournament and I see the captain as a strength to the team. MS Dhoni was the one to steer India through to the finals by scoring eighty+ during their final league match with Sri lanka and again came good during the finals.I am sure his team will do pretty well in this tournament as well.

I do not accept this dude. In what way do you say that he is favoured by luck always. No way. The world has seen him as a captain who took charge at the crucial period and he also delivered the expected. Many of his brave decisions won us the world cup. Did ever beleive that India will win a world cup? But he made it feasible.

Mathew Hayden, Dhoni, Fleming, Hussey and Ntini are the players who can dominate any match ... but hussey was flop in the twenty 20 world cup ... so lets see ... what happens

Thick with quality, has to be a top 3 contender. Hussey can slot into the middle order and save a failing innings, although he is out of form. I hope we get to see some Haydos Smash (Hulk Smash!) and it will be nice to see Ntini send some stumps flying in Dhoni's direction. The experience of Oram, Fleming in particular and of course the greatest wicket taker in test cricket history Muralitharan (I don't care if he's chucking in a franchise league Wink) will also bode well I think.

Well somehow this team's combination is not looking perfect as other teams like Kolkata Knight Riders, Mohali - KingXI Punjab. But however players on whom I will keep an eye will be ..

Mahendra Singh Dhoni - I dont care about his batting as in recent series he never performed (If he perform than that will be add advantage to his team) but the thing which I really care about is his captaincy and his ability to keep his nerve calm even in critical situation and I think thats make a difference.

Mathew Hayden - His addition to Australia team really did a wonder and he is the player who can play long innings as well as destructive innings as well.

Mutian Muralitharan - His name is enough for those batsman who always afraid to play spins. Murali will certainly make a difference.

Stephem Fleming - Player who always lead from the front. He is not the captain but he knows every ins & out of this game and that will be big advantage to this team and I am sure Dhoni will learn from him.

Makhaya Ntini - He really love this game and give his 100% effort. He will lead the attack of bowling line up.

Hmmmm I think I might settle on this team, I'm a big big fan of Muttiah Muralitharan, he has charm, is 110% competitive, not keen on losing. Mahendra Singh (MS) Dhoni is a wonderfully talened batsman and a totally awesome wicket-keeper also a 110% cricketer as well as popular here in Aus. Can't forget the Aussies Mathew Hayden and Michael Hussey, and that pesky Jacob Oram from NZ. When called Joginder Sharma will do the right thing too. All in all a teram of 110% players

Chennai Super Kings are go! Very Happy

This team is known for four M

Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Mathew Hayden
Michael Hussey
Makhaya Ntini

They have the potential to perform and can win any type of match at any situation.

Dhoni really knows how to change his bowler in crunch situation and how to win the war of nerves ...

I agree with Ravi Shastri. Dhoni should change the batting lineup for their next match against Delhi. Patel, Flemming, Raina, Dhoni, Morkel.. based on how they play, send Gony next.

They are missing 3 biggies Hayden, Oram and Hussey.

Also, I am not sure why Morkel doesn't open bowling with Ntini.
