IPL is certainly going to be a big event but however there are various reasons which can turned down this tournament ... such as ...
1) Players are playing for the money only.
2) No patriotism involve and hence public will be least attractive
3) Players will look like as moving ad banners ...
4) More NAUTANKI less Cricket ...
But however these are the reason which can make it a big hit ...
1) Sheer entertainment and total paisa vasool to the public
2) All renowned players will take the part and Top Class bowler to Top Class Batsman
3) Pattern of this match always attract public

| The issue for me is that merchandise sales will not be very good. Year to year there may be different players playing for different teams, so if you buy a Gilchrist Charger's shirt, it may be useless next year. Considering the level of importance merchandise holds for a lot of sports, this may be a setback for the league. However, the rotational nature of the league is also one of it's attractive points. So it's difficult to tell how well it will go, considering the innovative nature of the league as a whole. |

well i think there are no proper reason y IPL will not be a success!!!!!
though its true that a lot of money is involved in it , it is not a reason to say that people will not like that!
With so many International players & international coverage, IPL is bound to succeed!!!
even if IPL has no country wise passion , it will develop the Club wise passion as in Englisg premier league( Soccer)
So for me Its the biggest thing happened to cricket & will will change the way cricket will be played & watched in future |

My Reaons is -
Indians love this game and they are mad for it. They are dying to get a glimpse of their icons. So if a country who loves so much this game than any kind of event which contains big star will be a big successful. From here we can see that Cricket is going to be change and very soon this will be turned into pure professional.
BCCI and organiser added every ingredients to make this recipe a big hit. Cheerleaders, Big Movie Star, Fast Music, Cheap Rates of Ticket (Except of some venues).

the success of ipl is now pretty evident with ipl being the talk everywhere, from news channels to streets and communities on social networking sites. the filled stadiums have shown how much fan base it has generated and may not have the patriotism factor for the country involved but surely have the city based loyalties coming into play. the success can also be seen by the fact that people who are otherwise not interested in cricket getting hooked to the tournament like women who have taken to th matches even though its timings clashes with jsome of the most popular soaps on television.
ipl had all the ingridients to be a success and it has proved to be one. |
