Asian countries really enjoyed IPL tournament and its short duration. Now One Day International Series as Kitply Cup 2008 (having India, Pakistan and Bangladesh) is going to start in 50 overs format and this series is going to tell you the impact of twnety 20 on traditional cricket matches.
Non stop 45 days entertainment really changed the habit of viewers and the success of IPL really proved it. For me personally now watching full one day international is really boring and wasting of time. Earlier I was used to watch the whole match of 100 overs with my fast food, cold drinks, tea and some other snacks. But now I do not think that it will be possible for me to watch ODI and most importantly there will be no such fireworks and entertaining innings as well which you can expect in every alternate ball or in every over. |
