Knight Riders Vs Delhi Daredevils
This match is the turning point for IPL and here is one performance by both teams where batsman and bowlers equally flourished - earlier we saw a good batting side and opening strikes really made a winning difference - but in this match the score and the total was virtually immaterial. Bowlers can make a big difference in a 20Twenty match - provided they are utilised appropiately and strategically.
Also, hats off to Ganguly for pulling off another stunner and to SRK for providing the needed boost to the team.
I have mentioned earlier that every match from now on will require strategy and planning apart from skill and power. And once again the two shrewd planners - Shane and Ganguly are proving us correct. Also the fact that Shoiab Akhter is more of a test player than a 20Twenty guy.
Also, Delhi middle order require serious practice and re-shuffle as this team has all the fire power but fails against pressure.
I will wait for todays match also - as we need to closely see if Mumbai Indians still hold the same tempo and zeal as seen in the last match and if Master blaster Tendulkar really makes a big difference. |

Yes - it was abad loss yesterday and Shoaib made all the difference - but i think thats the end of it - next match you will see Delhi come out with flying colors.
We managed well to restrict Knight Riders at a very low score but our batsmen could not take advantage of it |

Delhi batsmen under-estimated Shoaib. They played him just like they would play any other bowler.
Should have thought more on how to handle his 4 overs before stepping in to bat.
But I know, Delhi will bounce back after this. They sure will be licking their fingers to get revenge from Kolkata at Home Ground(Delhi).
Also looking fwd to see how mumbai fares with the addition of sachin.

well just a pathetic batting display by DDs!!!!!!
After a great performance by their bowlers, batsmen gave away the advantage!
& yeah Ganguly used his resources well & pulled up an easy win
Now the DDs look in real danger |

14th May was the day of Shoaib Akhtar and he performed but my dear friend you cant take him as a match winner every time .. I am sure in coming match this will be clear very much ... I am sure in coming matches he will be costlier bowler although he will be able to take few wickets but at high cost ...
Mishra was showing some resistance and taken Delhi to winning total ... |
