| Do you think that the ICL players would be mentally comfortable. Am sure they would not. Because if they had waited for some more months, they would have joined IPL and now that IPL has completely over shadowed ICL. No awareness about ICL players are being done and i think they have lost the track. |

| Added to the woes, how many of us are aware of the finals that got over recently in the series in which hyderabad heroes won the match. No one was aware may be except a few. I think they need to learn aspects from the IPL board members on how to make it a grand success in taking everything to people. |

The problem is with players who dont know enough about Subhas Goel - owner of Zee who launched ICL - this man wants to have every piece of cake and eat it too... this man worked in a rice godown and then ad his own. Down the line he launched Zee and was successful - then star joined him as a partner but very soon moved out... after which he tried to put his hands in everything profitable... an entertainment park - esselworld - now closing down - a computer institute - and whenever there is a successful channel - he tries to clone it himself - how many people have heard or watch all his channels i doubt - now when he found cricket profitable - he immediately jumped to make a tournament - and burned his fingers again - no good person stays in his organisation for long - he starts everything but dosent know how to manage them - its a family controlled, one man show out there which will last maybe one generation.
True we miss a few players like Brian Lara among others - but a little analysis could have helped them in not making a hasty decision... |
