With the launch of IPL, i think the indian T20 team will have lots of choices for their next world cup or for any matches. Because we could obviously see who is performing and non performers. We ourself could predict the team members. Thanks to IPL for giving the opportunity to hunt for the players for india. Am sure Indian T20 team will be the strongest in the future. What do you say?

On the base of this kind of game you never choose or select team for one day and Test Matches. Twenty 20 will never judge the true player, this is very short tenure match and any one who knows how to hit the ball can be handy even if dont know the basic of batting.

Performance in One day International will always be the best judge event ...

well i totaly disagree with the opinion of crilove. Just bcoz T20 is of shorter version , u cant say it cant judge players!
We all know these days that even in ODIs ,we require clean hitter of batters & bowlers who can perform in trying conditions. So IPL will surely a platform for the selectors to look for future prospeccts.
But the sad part is that in a few matches we had till now, none of Indians has performed well , be it seniors or youngsters. & so its not a gud news for Indian cricket.

I agree with descorpio & Varun.
It is only now that we are recognizing multitalented players like Ravindra Jadeja, Abhishek Nayar, Lakshmi Shukla etcc.. and im sure they have a bright future ahead.
And the sooner they are drafted into indian team and given exposure, the better it will be for Indian Cricket.

It is good for youngsters to prove them and chance to team selectors for find new hopes for indian cricket. This is a great opportunity for all who performed well.

Yes the IPL will give rise to new stars and this will also give countries difficulties in selections!!!!! think about it,,,, some real low down players , if not selected for international match, will be all over the media saying that they performed well but were not given a chance to play

This game is inspired by the politics as well ... we have seen so many example of this ... but this is fore sure that media will give attention to that player who will perform well ...

Its a big platform to perform for the youngster and now from here they can rewrite their destiny. Some of the players are already leaving their mark in this tournament and even senior players are appraising them. Ricky Ponting is impressed by the bowling of Ashok Dinda, and Virat Kohli is leaving his mark on field ground.
