| I read reports that some of the players are going to be paid upwards of £500,000 - wheres the money coming from surely the advertsing franchise is that that big? |

| I am sure it is a very big amount for them if they are going to be paid. The players have to increase their potential and must contribute the fullest in order to bag the money. Else they could not. So obviously everyone will try to do the same and as a result we could see one of the best entertainers in every match of the season. |

bcci is the richest cricket board i the world...
it can even buy a country for itself.......
Frankly it can use this money for other good purposes, like opening free cricket coaching classes in the country.....
but instead of supporting the countrymen ......... its giving out its wealth to others........ thats bad .....atleast they shold reward the indians more than the foriegners..... but they wont... because they are great...... keep up the good work bcci........ spread the wealth among the richest countries........ |

Well this tournament is simply to make Cricket more glamorous all around the world. Similar like Champions League and NBA. So to get the maximum out from players these kind and that much amount is necessary.
They have sold internet right to a US company for 50 million. Similarly they have sold everything and from their they are getting such huge amount of money. BCCI is not going to pay from his own pocket infact they are trying to fill up their pocket. |
