i think the greatest changes will be definitely be in the bangalore team and this was said even at the time the tounament was not started, they should probably get more players suited for this format rather than the test one, i dont think lots of changes are required for deccan, they just need to concentrate more on performing as a team because they have some proven match winners. i guess mumbai could do with some changes in their middle order, with reliable players who can field well and do not crumble under the pressure because these are the main points that mumbai will have o ponder if they fail to make it to the semis.

You will revolutionary changes in Banglore team thats for sure ... and I think you will be able to see major changes in Rajasthan Royals as well ... Kolkata Knight Riders can also go for a major changes as there were big hype for them before start of this series but they terribly failed and lying down at 6th position ...

You never know ... as England players can also join next IPL tournament or may be you can see new team formed ... but as far as current team is concerned ... I think ... Kolkata ... Mumbai and Banglore will give the new shape to their team as they badly needed and Hyderabad should trace a suitable and aggressive captain with some good bowlers ... thats all

I wonder whether there is much scope for change in any team's playing roster, if players have been contracted for three years. Even if players are replaced, their contracts will still have to be paid out. Plus teams will face the cost of paying the replacement players - and I can't imagine the English stars accepting a lesser amount than those playing in 2008.
So any discussion of player changes may be purely academic. But while we're being academic - I reckon teams need to focus on recruiting bowlers who can bowl stump to stump, at a good length, in order to limit rampant scoring by batters going the slog-sweep in the final five overs. Stuart Clarke would fit the bill, and he is not bad at the slog-sweep either.
GO THE KINGS XI. |

well considering the BCCI conditions that the contracts offered to players are for 3 years i doubt they can be much chances in next IPL season. But as many of the franchises want to change players, BCCI may be under pressure. You will revolutionary changes in Banglore team thats for sure in Mallya allowed to change. Kolkata Knight Riders i doubt will not have much changes as they have got some big names in their squad . Also Deccan Charger ned not change much
