| Delhi fans must have been disappointed with the result today. They really played awful cricket. Everyone was gone mad. No one really tried to be there at the crease. So who do you think is responsible for delhi's loss |

Delhi were beaten by the captaincy of Shane Warne. It's amazing how such an objectionable human being can be so inspirational on the the cricket field. His field placements, constant encouragement to the RR players, not to mention his superb bowling performance were a joy to watch. Just don't let him near wider society ... or lock up your wife and daughters .
I also feel that Delhi supporters need to acknowledge the achievement of their team making the semi-final in such a hard fought, intense competition as the IPL. Many more teams with bigger reputations and budgets fell by the wayside before the semi's. Congratulations to the Delhi Daredevils - I have loved watching Gambir bat commandingly and McGrath 'land the ball on a penny' over after over in IPL '08. |

I think we cannot hold a single person responsible for the loss.
Delhi bowled badly, fielded terribly and batted patheticly.
And it was clinical of Shane Warne and his troup to bring out their own best performance at such a crucial time.
I think this is among the most convincing victory by RR from all their wins.

Well as now they are out so every mouth will tell us a different story ... and here is my mouth as well ...
1) Wrong decision to choose field - When Sehwag knows that his team strength is batting line up ... so in that condition he should bat first and put Rajasthan under pressure.
2) Daredevils Bowlers - They are not at all upto the mark and was bowling with short pitch and with width as well ...
3) Batting - I know T20 is very short duration match and every dot balls create pressure on batsman but however those shots selections were poor
4) Credit to Rajasthan - It seems to me that Warne & Co. come to the pitch with definite plan and they just follow that one ... and I think thats why they beat.
Sad thing is Delhi never tried to cope up with the situation and thats why they all out in mere 87 runs ... Poor show at this level of tournament ... |
