First it was Jayasuriya to get a call back to the Sri lanka One day squad - and then Yusuf Pathn who got a berth in the India One-day international Team. Now it is the turn of Shane Watson to get selected in the Australian ODI team.
Cricket Australia , Chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch is said to have considered both Watson’s domestic performance and the cracking form in the Indian premier League (IPL). Shane, who played for Rajsthan Royals bagged the Man of the Series award and scored a total of 472 with an average of 47.2 - also, his bowling performance was phenomenal with a total of 17 wickets at an economy rate of 7.08.

Jaipur: Mohit Goyal
Indian Premier League Match Preview
Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians at Jaipur
Indians will have to win this match this match to keep their semi final chances under their own control. Else they will need Deccan who are not in that good a form to beat Chennai. Royals on the other hand would not want this dangerous Mumbai side to advance and would definitely like to make like difficult for them by beating them here.
Men at the Helm
Shane Warne has been simply superb throughout the league and everything he’s touched has turned gold. He would to be looking to try out a few combinations before the knock out stages start. Sachin on the other hand has been calm and cool but not been as sharp and quick as required for such a fast paced game. He mismanaged the distribution of overs in the match against Punjab and the team selection too has lacked thought. He has banked too much on the opponents’ weaknesses rather than his team’s strength.

Editorial: Mohit Goyal
Indian Premier League Match Preview
Deccan Chargers v Mumbai Indians at Hyderabad
Both the teams started very badly but Mumbai have picked up since then while Deccan have slumped further and further. Deccan will be out to prove that they are a much better team then what the points table says.
Men at the Helm
Gilchrist has been leading the side pretty well but the batters have disappointed. We haven’t seen much of Sachin as yet but he seems to have adapted pretty well and is likely to be hugely assisted by the presence of Pollock and Jayasuriya around.
We have the bat
Deccan have Gilchrist and Gibbs to match for Jayasuriya and Tendulkar in Mumbai but Gibbs hasn’t been firing and Gilchrist also hasn’t done well often enough. Deccan will need one of Gilchrist, Gibbs and Rohit and Mumbai will need one of Jayasuriya, Tendulkar and Uthappa to play an extraordinary innings to the teams nose ahead.
We have the ball
Mumbai are a very good bowling unit. Pollock, Nehra and Kulkarni have bowled pretty well. For Deccan RP Singh has bowled well only in patches. Styris and Ojha too haven’t been consistent. But young lad Vijay Kumar has been quite encouraging.
Patrolling Party
Mumbai have continuously improved their fielding as the tournament has progressed while Deccan have been very disappointing. They dearly need to aid their bowlers.
High on betting meter
Mumbai are High on betting meter with returns of around 60 percent while Deccan give returns of around 125 percent.
Who gets the tick?
Mumbai is the team that seems to be peaking at the right moment in the league. They would like to clinch this one to firmly march towards a semi final berth. Deccan on the other hand are a very good side and can’t keep loosing for long. They are surely going to spoil the party of one of the four teams besides Rajasthan and Punjab in contention for semi finals.

Delhi: Lokesh Aggarwal
Jayasuriya’s current stunning performance has got the Sri Lankan selectors thinking and he has now been bought back into the national team.
Veteran Sanath Jayasuriya has been recalled to Sri Lanka’s one-day squad for the Asia Cup in June.
Jayasuriya, 38, was dropped for Sri Lanka’s West Indies series in April after a lean run that included a highest score of 41 in his previous 20 innings.
However, the opening batsman won his place back in the team after smashing 114 from 48 balls for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, an innings that included 11 sixes and nine fours.
Opener Upul Tharanga was axed to make room for Jayasuriya who will open the batting with Mahela Udawatte, who made his debut in the West Indies.
Sri Lanka also included spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, who was rested for the West Indies tour.
All rounder Farveez Maharoof and fast bowler Dilhara Fernando returned to the squad in place of pace bowlers Thilan Thushara and Ishara Amarasinghe.
The six-nation Asia Cup will be played in Pakistan from June 24 to July 6.

Mumbai: Partho Mitra
There will be long debates across the coffee houses in Kolkata and the Barista’s in Mumbai on whether it was great bowling, or over confidence or a bad pitch which led to the miserable defeat of Knight Riders with the lowest total ever scored in 20Twenty Cricket. And this comes after a dream run of three straight wins.
This is not only the quickest win in this IPL. To make things even better for the Mumbai Indians, this is also a World Record for the fastest Twenty20 win ever!
Mumbai climb up to the 4th spot in the points table now, they topple Kolkata and leave behind Delhi too with one game less and better net run-rate!
This is Mumbai’s fifth straight win in this tournament, they equal with Kolkata and Delhi in the points table now but occupies the forth position due to their run-rate. While Kolkata gets displaced to the 6th position just ahead of Deccan Chargers and Bangalore Royal Challengers.
Inspite of Sachin getting out for zero, Jayasuriya continued his flamboyance from where he left in the last match. Earlier Shaun Pollock plucked the vital wickets of David Hussey, Hafeez and Salman Butt and the Knight Riders managed a total of just 67 losing all their wickets. Mumbai Indians - the ‘men in blue’ met the target in just 5.3 overs won by 8 wickets with Shaun grabbing the Man of the Match.
